Lesson 6: How our Creative Team Work

In this final lesson, we explain how the AdConversion creative team works with you. It covers how we handle briefs, revisions, timelines, tools, and how we make sure your ads look amazing and perform well.

1. Starting with the Brief

We kick things off with a 30-minute call between your team and our Creative Strategist. This helps us understand:

  • What your product does

  • Who it helps

  • What makes it different

  • Your tone of voice

We’ll also ask you to share:

  • Messaging or brand guidelines

  • Figma files or any design assets

  • Any extra materials that help us create your ads

2. Building Your Messaging

Next, we create “messaging stories” that test different angles to see what works best. Each story includes:

  • The problem your product solves

  • The solution

  • Key benefits

  • Social proof

  • Target audience and any “enemies” (aka outdated ways of doing things)

  • A story tag so we can track performance later

3. The Campaign Lifecycle

Every ad campaign follows these steps:

  • Brief: We write it, based on your request.

  • Edit: Our team creates the copy, design, or video.

  • Approve: We send it for your review and green light.

  • Launch: Once approved, it goes live.

  • Analyze: After a set time (usually 2+ weeks), we review results.

  • Refresh: We make updates based on data to keep performance strong.

4. Submitting Requests

As it was explained on the previows lesson, your Performance Marketing Manager will handle creative requests for you. They fill out a form that creates a task in ClickUp (our project tracker). This keeps everything aligned with your strategy.

Typical delivery times:

You can always check our Help Center for updates on SLAs.

5. Review & Revisions

We send drafts via:

  • Figma: for static ads (with copy) and landing pages

  • Google Sheets: for search ad copy

  • Frame.io: for video ads

  • Perspective: for funnels

You can comment directly in these platforms.

⚠️ Important: Revisions & Feedback

We work in three rounds of revisions. You can give feedback up to 3 times. After that, a new request may be needed.

To keep things clear and efficient, we ask for one Point of Contact (POC) from your side to collect and share feedback. You’re welcome to involve multiple people internally, but only one person should send the feedback to us—all at once per round.

This helps avoid back-and-forth confusion and keeps the process smooth for everyone.

6. Communication on Slack

Slack is our main way to stay in touch with you. We’ll use it to:

  • Send links to draft ads

  • Ask for approvals

  • Share updates

You’ll be invited to a shared Slack channel just for your team and ours.

7. How We Use Figma

You’ll have access to a Figma project folder with:

  • A Master File: with all approved ads in one place

  • Campaign files, organized by page and version

We track revisions by duplicating pages (v1, v2, v3) so you can see how your feedback was applied. We also include:

  • Designer info and photos

  • Quick links to copy docs and ClickUp tasks

  • Ad previews in platform view

You can comment directly in Figma by pressing C and tagging anyone.

Let us know if you have questions or need help with anything. We’re here to make creative work easy and clear for you.

See you on Slack!
