Hey there!

Providing your Customer ID is crucial for several reasons when managing Ads account, especially when you need support or want to link accounts. We also need your Customer ID to request access to manage your campaigns. This ensures that permissions are granted securely and correctly.

In this article we will detail how you can provide us access to your account ID.

Google Ads Manager Account Linking Instructions

Here's a short video tutorial showing how to find this info.

  • Log into your Google Ads account (ads.google.com)
  • Locate your 10-digit account ID at the top right of the home page once you log in. You should see a similar page:

  • Your account ID is located in the area indicated by the green box.
  • Send that account ID to me and I will send a request to link your account to my manager account.
  • Once I do that, you will receive an email that looks like this. Click ‘Accept Request’ and we’ll be all set 🎉

  • Go to your LinkedIn company page and select Settings > Manage admins

  • From there, go to ‘Paid media admin’ and click the ‘Add paid media admin’ button.

  • Type in my name and assign me all roles:

Meta Business Suite Access Instructions

Here's a short video tutorial showing how to find this info.

Going through Meta Business Suite is the best way to grant me access to both the Meta Ads account and the company Facebook page, which I will need in order to run ads.

  • Log into your Meta Business Suite (https://business.facebook.com/) and click ‘Settings’ on the bottom left side of the home page (highlighted in the green box in the screenshot below).

  • From there, you should see a list of users with access to the Business Portfolio:

  • Click ‘Invite people’ and the following prompt will appear:

  • Add my email address. From there, you will be asked to choose access levels. Select ‘Basic’ and ‘Apps and integrations’:

  • You will then be prompted to select business assets (Facebook pages and ad accounts). Please select the Facebook page that corresponds with the brand ad account I will be actively managing.
  • You can see a mix of pages and ad accounts in this example:

  • Once the assets are selected, you will choose individual access levels for each asset starting with the ad account.

  • Select ‘Full control’ for the ad account.

  • Next is the page access - Select ‘Ads’, ‘Insights’, and ‘Leads’ or you can select ‘Partial access’.

  • After all the roles are selected for the assets, you will be able to review the invitation before sending it. The review prompt will look something like this:

  • Phew! Send the invitation and I will receive an email from Meta inviting me to join your business account.
  • Meta Access is now completed ✅
